Arsenal Closing On Key Signing With Attractive Swap Deal Offered

Arsenal are claimed to be closing in on a deal to sign Dusan Vlahovic after including Lucas Torreira in the offer to Fiorentina. The Gunners appear to be upping the anti in their search for a new striker, with question marks over all three of their current senior options. Alexandre Lacazette has recently been tasked with leading the line following Pierre-Emerick  Aubameyang’s exile  from the first-team, but the Frenchman is into the final months of his current deal, and there doesn’t appear to be anything close to an agreement on an extension at present. We are continually linked with a deal for Vlahovic so far this month however, and we are now believed to have the attention of his current club Fiorentina by supposedly offering Lucas Torreira as a makeweight in the deal. The Uruguayan midfielder is currently on loan with La Viola, and is impressing at present, and they are keen on keeping him beyond his current temporary deal. I pray that we can make this happen. Torreira cle...

ARSENAL NEWS: Arsenal Plot Bargain Noussair Mazraoui January Transfer

The transfer window may not have opened yet but the rumour mill is in full swing as Arsenal become linked with a host of players, just as others may be headed for the exit door. Signing six players last time out for a combined total of around £150m, the deals the club pulled off have already started looking like genius pieces of business. All of the arrivals have contributed in some capacity, with right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu proving to be one of the most successful of all the additions. The Japan international has taken to Premier League football like a duck to water, showcasing tactical suitability in his role and being more than a match for the physical nature of the division. He has come into Mikel Arteta’s side and performed his task admirably, so much so that it often goes under the radar how comfortable he is in the role. Arsenal eye January move for Ajax right-back Noussa...

Real Madrid Predicted Lineup Vs Inter Milan: The UCL Is Back!

Real Madrid came out of a chaotic 5-2 win against Celta Vigo which showed us just how good they can be going forward and how much work is still needed at the back. Unfortunately for them, they just have a couple of days to fix whatever is needed before they take on Inter Milan on Wednesday night in their first match of the UEFA Champions League this season. Carlo Ancelotti knows that some of his players will probably need some rest soon but it’ll be difficult to grant it to them for this game as we could see rotations made for the next league game. Goalkeeper Unlucky to concede two goals over the weekend, Thibaut Courtois will be in goal once again on Wednesday night. He has cemented himself as an extremely reliable and match-winning goalkeeper and will be hoping to add more good moments to his list. Defenders Whenever he is fit, Dani Carvajal starts and the reason is quite simple: He adds a feeling of danger to the opposition whether he’s moving forward or at the back. His runs and hi...

ARSENAL NEWS: Arteta Smartly Unlocks Two Secret Weapons To Transform Arsenal Approach Against Burnley Tactics

Takehiro Tomiyasu and Aaron Ramsdale made their Premier League debut for Arsenal on Saturday evening against Norwich and restored a sense of optimism among the fanbase. Both of the new signings impressed as the Gunners won their first Premier League game of the season after a hard-fought 1-0 victory. More interestingly the north London side also kept their first clean sheet in the league, with Tomiyasu and Ramsdale having a major part to play in this. Arsenal’s backline have always been scrutinised for the lack of physicality the team impose but with these two new signings there seems to be more of a presence in the defence. Mikel Arteta timed the debuts of Tomiyasu and Ramsdale perfectly considering Arsenal play Burnley in their next fixture, where Arsenal have been bullied in recent years. However this may not be the case this time as Tomiyasu managed to win 7 out of the 8 aerial duels he challenged for and looked comfortable defensively. He won 88% of his aerial duels in the game ag...

ARSENALNEWS: Jack Wilshere To Begin Arsenal Talks Over Club Return After Mikel Arteta Offer

Former Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere is hopeful of beginning talks about a return to the Gunners, three years since he left to join West Ham United. Wilshere burst onto the scene with the North Londoners in 2010, before becoming a first team member at the beginning of the 2010-11 season after a successful loan spell with Bolton Wanderers. However, having been released by Bournemouth last season, he is currently without a club for the first time in his career. The 29-year-old was once touted for great things for club and country after shining in the first-leg of Arsenal’s 2-1 home victory against Barcelona in the 2010-11 Champions League season. Ten years on, Wilshere could be set to begin training with the Gunners. "Being around good players, training with world-class players and as well just being in a team environment is something I'm interested in,” said Wilshere. "I'm sure that I'll have a conversation with someone at the club over the next co...

ARSENAL NEWS: Brentford Game Was Nearly Postponed Due To Illness Of Arsenal Players

Arsenal’s opener against Brentford was “very close” to being postponed. In a shocking revelation, just a few days after Arsenal lost to newly promoted Brentford, it has been stated that the match was close to being postponed due to a Covid scare. The visitor camp at Brentford Community Stadium realized that they had few members who were showing symptoms of illness. This forced everybody involved to get tested before their Premier League clash against the Bees, to ensure whether the match can go ahead as planned or not. Luckily (not for Arsenal fans) it did go ahead and Brentford outplayed Mikel Arteta’s men in an astounding fashion. The recent report of coronavirus scare is a warning sign to the Premier League that the pandemic still has not disappeared into thin air.   The British government has removed every restriction there was in place before and that might lead to a rise in coronavirus cases, naturally. The Premier League teams, however, are still ordered to follow the social...

ARSENAL NEWS: Arsenal Consider Swoop Deal For Bayern Midfielder Corentin Tolisso

Arsenal are weighing up an offer to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, according to a report in Italy. Italian website Calciomercato, as quoted by TuttoJuve, is reporting that the Gunners could turn their attention to the France international as Mikel Arteta looks to sign a new central midfielder in the 2021 summer transfer window. The same article states that the Gunners are looking to bolster their options in the middle of the park after Arsenal suffered a 2-0 loss to Brentford in their Premier League opener. According to the same story, Arsenal are hoping to convince Bayern Munich to accept a straight swap deal involving Hector Bellerin and Tolisso before the close of the transfer market. The report goes on to suggest that the Bundesliga champions would be open to the proposed swap deal given Tolisso has struggled to leave his mark on the German side. Calciomercato claim that the proposed swap deal could prove successful given that Bayern really like Bellerin. Tolisso s...
