ARSENAL NEWS: Real Madrid Name Price For Odegaard As Arsenal Return For Bordeaux Attacker

Odegaard price named

Martin Odegaard is a player Arsenal clearly appreciate. Having spent the second half of last season on loan at the club, Odegaard endured a mixed time in north London, but at 22 years old could certainly be one for the future.

The major stumbling block, of course, is that he is a Real Madrid player, for now at least. In the latest news, however, he may soon be looking to leave the Spanish capital, with Lucas Navarrete reporting that he is “seriously considering a move away” over fears of playing time.

It would take Arsenal around €40 or €50 million to secure Odegaard’s signing. The player hasn’t made a final decision about his future but is seriously considering a move away from Madrid.

He is not optimistic about his playing time and wants to start.

In the case that he decides to leave, Arsenal will certainly be in the mix for his signature, with a supposed price of between 40 and 50 million euros thought to be what it would take to bring Madrid to the table.

With their financial difficulties at present, it could even be less.
Arsenal join Tottenham in hunt for Yacine Adli

Meanwhile, the Sun report that Arsenal have joined north London rivals Tottenham in making contact with French club Bordeaux over Yacine Adli. The young playmaker was linked with a move to the Gunners in 2018, but chose instead to remain in Paris.

The youngster joined Bordeaux on a permanent deal in 2019, and he has since gone on to become a regular in their side, appearing 35 times last campaign. Capable in both the number 10 role and the slightly further back number 8, he could be a perfect backup for Arsenal’s new number 10 Emile Smith Rowe and, at 21, has his best years still ahead of him.
Osei-Tutu leaves on loan

Meanwhile, Arsenal have continued to loan their youth prospects to lower tiers of English football, as Jordi Osei-Tutu becomes the latest to depart.

The 22-year-old full-back, who can also play as a winger, is set to join Nottingham Forest on loan, as he bids to nail down first-team football. He spent last campaign on loan at Cardiff, but suffered a severe hamstring injury which limited the youngster to just 8 Championship appearances.

It is hoped that these woes are behind him, and he can be afforded a chance to impress this season.

Two Premier League Clubs Want On-Loan Arsenal Man

Crystal Palace and Leeds United are interested in signing Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the summer. The Arsenal man has spent this second half of the season on loan at West Brom after finding first-team chances scarce at the Emirates. However, if the Gunners decide that he can leave, the two Premier League teams will pounce to sign him, according to Mirror Football.  Kaio Jorge has become a hot property in the transfer market ahead of the summer transfer window.   The Brazilian centre-forward is being chased by Arsenal and Chelsea among several other top European teams, with his contract with Santos running out in December. Kaio joined the Santos academy in 2012 at the age of 10 before making rapid strides within the youth setup. Jorge made such a quick impression on his youth bosses that he ended up making his first-team debut in 2018 while still only 16.
